Niki McGuinness

Chiropractor/Director

Niki McGuinness has been a Chiropractor for over 8 years and a Registered Nurse for nearly 16 years. In her 20’s she experienced a nurse-related back injury and was rendered unable to work for 6 months. After months of Physio, Massage, Back Rehabilitation programs, and Occupational Health appointments she decided to have a break from clinical nursing and return to London to work as a flight nurse. During this time, she found an Australian Chiropractor in Putney, London who changed her whole back pain experience. This sent her on a journey to learn more about Chiropractic, eventually returning to Perth in 2005 to study Chiropractic full time.

Since this time, she has owned her own clinic in Trigg in WA which she sold in May 2018 to move to Queensland. Since then she has set up Bulimba Chiropractic and is now working alongside Jasmine De Wind as Chiropractors for Bodycode Integrative Wellbeing.

Over the years Niki gained a reputation for taking the time with new patients and building confidence in Chiropractic. So her treatment style suits those nervous about chiropractic or who prefer a more gentle approach. In particular, Niki has an interest in treating patients who have suffered from chronic neck pain, headaches/migraines, and pregnancy Chiropractic or who are more complex in their presentation.

In addition to this, Niki is certified in Inspiral technique, a gentle form of Chiropractic (non-manipulative) for newborns to assist with the unsettled baby or post-frenectomy care.
